Als Niederrheiner hat man automatisch den Weitblick. Und da, des flachen Landes wegen, man so viel sieht, mangelt es auch nicht an Motiven.
So erspart man sich unnötiges, weites Reisen :-)
Die Fotografie, "malen mit Licht" - wie es so schön heisst, begleitet mich schon seit meiner Jugend. Über die analoge Fotografie ( mit eigener Dunkelkammer, um meine Dias auf Papier zu bringen ) kam ich zur digitalen Fotografie.
Der stetige Innovationsprozess ersetzt die Dunkelkammer jetzt durch "Photoshop und Lightroom".
Eine interessante und schnelle Entwicklung, wie ich meine. Und die Neugier auf weitere zukünftige Technologien in der Branche ist immer noch da.
Das Hobby wurde mit der Zeit auch beruflich eingesetzt, und so konnte ich manch aufwendige Produktion selbständig realisieren . . . .
. . . nein, es ist keine künstlerische Fotografie. Es ist eine objektive Sichtweise der Dinge. Dinge die vorhanden sind, vielleicht manchmal aus einer gewissen Distanz, aber dann auch wieder detailverliebt, um das wichtige Element sachlich herauszustellen.
Ich bevorzuge die Natürlichkeit, ohne großartige, zusätzliche externe Lichtquellen. Hauptlicht, Fülllicht, Hintergrund-Beleuchtung . . . die Sonne ist auch nur einmal vorhanden!
Vielleicht ist es ja doch Kunst, Fotokunst, die uns die Freiheit über die Sichtweise der Dinge durch eine freie Bildsprache erlaubt.
Das Schöne ist . . . "wir malen weiter mit Licht", trotz aller großartiger Entwicklungen.

As a "Niederrheiner" ( refers to the living people in that region ) you have automatically the foresight. And then, because of flat land, you see so much, there is no shortage of enough motives.
So it will save you unnecessary, long travel :-)
The photograph, "painting with light" - as the saying goes, attends me since my youth.

An interesting and quick development, I think. And the curiosity to other future technologies in the industry is still there.
The hobby became, in time, professionally employed, and so I could implement some complex production itself . . .
. . . no, it is no artistic photography. It is an objective view of things. Things that exist, perhaps sometimes from a certain distance, but then again to detail in order to highlight the important element objectively.
I prefer the naturalness, without great additional external light sources. Main light, fill light, back light. . .the sun is only once available!
Maybe it's still art, photo art, giving us the freedom on the view of things, allowed by a free imagery.
The nice thing. . . "We continue to paint with light", despite all the great developments.
